UPDATE: LOWER THAN NORMAL WATER PRESSURES

UPDATE: The replacement valve has been installed and we are now in the process of refilling the tank. Pressure should start increasing but it will still take a few more hours to stabilize the system. Thank you for your continued patience.

Customers of Versailles Municipal Utilities may notice lower than normal water pressures. This is a result of a valve failure near the water booster station on Huntertown Rd. Not all customers are affected.

We anticipate that the new valve will be inserted into the system early Saturday morning, Sept. 7th pending any unforeseen issues with the contractor.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through getting this valve replaced and back into operation. You can help us out by limiting the filling of pools, washing vehicles, watering lawns and conserving any other water use as much as possible.

There is no Boil Water Advisory issued at this time. We will continue to update as we can until this has been resolved.

Versailles still has stored water, and is also purchasing water from Kentucky American Water through a connection used in emergency situations.
