Street & Road Department

The City of Versailles Street Department is responsible for all maintaining streets, storm sewers, and the maintenance and beautification of public properties. Other services performed by the Street department include snow and litter removal, maintenance of all drainage systems, as well as cleanup/chipping of limbs and pick-up of leaves. All limbs must be between 1" and 4" in diameter.

Each year, loose leaf pick-up begins mid-late October and trucks run through December 31st. While there is no set schedule of pick-up, the leaf truck runs each day Monday through Friday. Bagged leaves may be picked up by Rumpke as part of your garbage collection subject to the weekly ten (10) bag limit.

Before any right-of-way work begins, a permit MUST be obtained from the City's Public Works Department. For the complete manual, Right of Way Manual 2019.
